TPI, a fiscal management consultant firm focusing on energy solutions, Ranks No.1 on the Weatherhead 100 list for 2018… Named Top Company in NE Ohio with five-year growth exceeding 3000%
CLEVELAND, November 29, 2018 – Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management today ranked TPI Efficiency No.1 at the 31st Annual Weatherhead 100, an exclusive ranking of Northeast Ohio's fastest-growing companies. TPI Efficiency came in first for growth in Northeast Ohio companies over the past 5 years.
For the past 31 years, the Weatherhead School of Management has awarded the fastest growing, for-profit, independently, and locally owned companies in the Northeast Ohio region. In this year’s evaluation, the Weatherhead 100 examined over 100 companies on the basis of net-revenue growth and expansion from 2013 to 2017.
100 finalists were invited to an awards gala at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown, hosted by Cleveland Indians’ announcer, Tom Hamilton. At the event, it was announced that TPI Efficiency had posted revenue growth of 3,281.57 percent since 2013, placing TPI at the top of the one hundred regional companies recognized for their achievements.
“It is a humbling and gratifying experience to win such an honor at an event that is attended by your peers in the community and in the entire region,” says Roger Zona, CEO and Founder of TPI Efficeincy.
In 2009, TPI Efficiency started with Zona in Cleveland, and has now grown to 45 employees. In 2017, TPI Efficiency expanded from its downtown Cleveland office in Cleveland’s Flats District, to offices in the Arena District in Columbus and Baltimore’s Federal Hill area.
Crain’s Cleveland Business credited much of TPI Efficiency’s success to its corporate culture and adaptability in an ever-changing industry. “My goal was never to create a good job for myself,” says Zona. “I wanted to create a Company.” Zona’s gratitude is apparent for both the company that has resulted and for the clients he has served. “We’re helping every client we touch. Our mission is to help them effectively spend every dollar. We’re not changing the way our client does business; we’re making sure it’s as cost-effective and operationally efficient as possible.”
Zona explains, “TPI is especially proud that, through our Total Procurement Intelligence Process ™ we’ve helped clients save tens of millions on operational expenses related to electricity, natural gas, and LED lighting alone. In turn, we have helped them grow their businesses, hire hundreds of people and impact their local communities.”
TPI Efficiency will utilize this win to increase their multi-regional impact and assist even more businesses in the expanding communities they service. TPI continues to develop technologies and processes that consistently save clients millions of dollars every year.
